Privacy policy

General

At Neorescue we attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. For this reason, below you will find information about personal data that we collect and may store when you visit neorescue.swiss. Protecting the privacy of our visitors is important to us, which is why we always process data in accordance with the applicable Swiss data protection legislation (DSG, effective as of 01.09.2023) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO, effective as of 25.05.2018). We also will not sell personal information to third party vendors under any circumstances.

Note: The terms used in the following, such as “personal data”, “personal data” or their “processing” refer to the definitions according to Art. 5 of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), or Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

Cookies and Web Beacons

We use cookies on our website (e.g. Google Analytics cookies) to measure information about website usage and reach. This is done on the basis of an overriding or legitimate interest (optimization of our online offering and the associated user experience) within the meaning of Art. 31 para 2 lit. e DSG, or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. Based on information stored with cookies, we may, among other things, display pop-up messages once during your visit or manage login functionality to access certain content.

You can disable or individually allow/block the use of cookies from our website and/or third-party providers at any time in your browser settings. The following link describes in detail how to disable cookies in your browser: https://de.wikihow.com/Cookies-deaktivieren. In addition, various programs (e.g. Norton Internet Security) also offer settings for managing cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may prevent you from using certain features of our (and other) sites to the same extent.

Google Analytics

On neorescue.swiss we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies (see above). The information generated by this about your use of our website is generally transferred to regional Google data centers in Europe and possibly also in the USA and stored there.

In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used during collection to determine location information (country, city, latitude and longitude of the city). They are deleted before data is stored in a data center or on a server.

On our behalf, Google will use the transmitted information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling aggregate reports on user activity on our website and providing other related services to us. For more information about how Google uses cookies and what information is collected with them, you can visit the following pages: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/cookies/ or https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

You can disable the use of Google Analytics at any time by installing a simple browser addon. You can find the addon at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

By default, according to Art. 6 para. 4 FADP, respectively Art. 5 para. 1 lit. e GDPR, all user and event level data linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) and advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies) will be deleted from Google Analytics after 14 months since the last activity of the corresponding user.

Collection of access data and log files

On the basis of overriding or legitimate interests (ensuring the proper operation of the website) within the meaning of Art. 31 para. 2 lit. e DSG, or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO, we collect data about accesses to the server on which our website is located (so-called server log files). Information is stored in these log files, such as the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type (including version), the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. Log file information is collected for security reasons (e.g. to clarify acts of abuse or fraud) and stored for as long as is reasonable or necessary for evidentiary purposes.

Contact forms

On our website, we offer all visitors the possibility to contact us via contact forms or order forms. When using the corresponding forms, personal information such as name, e-mail address as well as the corresponding messages and, depending on the type of form, address and telephone number are collected and stored. The storage and processing of this data is in each case based on an explicit consent when sending the form and is mandatory for the processing of requests (see also Art. 31 para. 2 lit. A DSG). The data will be used exclusively for processing the corresponding requests.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect the website from automated hacker attacks and spam requests, we also use Google’s reCAPTCHA service in various places (login pages, forms). This processes data such as IP address, browser information, mouse and keyboard behavior, operating system, and limited location and usage data to distinguish automated requests from those of human users. This process runs in the background, which is why the use of Google reCAPTCHA is indicated at the respective points by appropriate notices (below the affected forms or by a badge at the bottom right edge of the screen).

The use of reCAPTCHA is based on an overriding or legitimate interest (protection against hacker attacks and spam requests) within the meaning of Art. 31 (2) lit. e DSG, or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

For more information about how Google reCAPTCHA uses cookies and what information is collected with them, you can visit the following pages: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/terms respectively.

Integration of third-party services and content

In some places on this website, third-party content, such as map material from Google Maps, is integrated. This means that the third-party providers become aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address when the website is loaded. The integration of third-party content and services only takes place in exceptional cases and always on the basis of overriding or legitimate interests to improve the user experience on our website.

Contact and requests

As a user, you have the right to request information free of charge at any time about the personal data that has been stored about you. In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data, to block and delete your personal data (insofar as this does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data) and to object to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements.

If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy or your personal information, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can do this by sending an email to info@neorescue.swiss or by mail to the following address:
